
DANILO GALLO
Young bassist and electric bassist, born in Foggia in 1972,
he dedicated himself, at the beginning, to classical studies,
and then he deepened into jazz with Nico Catacchio, Guido Leone,
Felice Mazzina, Davide Santorsola at "Il Pentagramma" in Bari,
where he began his artistic activity attending clinics playing
in jam session with Claudio Fasoli, Mark Murphy and Franco
Cerri first, and then collaborating with some of the best
known musician from Italy and abroad like Benny Golson,
Bob Mintzer, Paul Jeffrey, Chris Speed, Kelvin Sholar, DIck
Halligan, GIanluigi Trovesi, Paaolo Birro, Kyle Gregory,
Robert Bonisolo, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianluca Petrella, Marcello
Tonolo, David Boato, Ettore Martin, Massimo Chiarellaa,
Renato Chicco, Gianni Lenoci, Romano Mussolini, Renato Daiello,
Antonio Ciacca, Davide Santorsola, Jean Paul Lochet, Rosemarie
Navach, Felice Mezzina, Mariella Carbonara, Judith Hamza and
others. He has been playing also with Bobby Durham, Shawnn
Montero, Massimi Faraņ, Ellade Bandini, Luigi Bonafede,
Christian Meyer, Pietro Tonolo. He is collaborating with the
"Thelonious Monk Big Band" directed by Marcello Tonolo.
He is actually participating in many other projects.He has
been playing in Italy, France, Holland, Germany, Austria,
Ceca Republic, Romania.
