DARIO VOLPI Guitarist born in Monrovia in 1962. He studied at the Berklee School Of Music. In 1987, in Perugia he had been attending clinics with Jim Kelly and Brett Wilmott at the "Seminari Sienesi"; In 1989 with J. Wilckins and Vic Juris in Castelfranco and with P. Metheny, J. Abercombie J. Hall, M. Goorick, M.Stern, J. Diorio in Ravenna. Playing intensively during those past years with several bands, he collaborated even with musicians like Lee Konitz, Valery Ponomarev, Frank Bambara, Lanfranco Malaguti(playing in duo and recordig a CD entitled "New Land" Splasc[h] Records), Giovanni Mayer, Bruno Cesselli, Enzo Pietropaoli, Francesco Bearzatti, Andrea Michelutti, Massimo Chiarella,U.T. Gandhi, Saverio Tasca, Ettore Martin and Carlo Actis Dato.
