TOMMASO GENOVESI Pianist, he studied the jazz language with well established music teachers such as Harold Danko, FrancoD'Andrea, John Taylor. He has been performing for many years in several jazz clubs, collabo- rating with Lanfranco Malaguti, Mauro Negri, Marc Abrams, Maurizio Caldura, Frank Bambara, Piero Odorici, Steve Logan, Robert Bonisolo, Enrico Bacchia, etc. In the last few years he has been dedicating himself to a new music project, forming a new quartet with whom he plays his own compositions. In 1999 he formed a quintet in order to promote a homage to the repertoire of the great Duke Ellington,arranging some of his pieces. The band's members include F.Bearzatti (sax), M.Ottolini (trombone), G.Torelli (bass) and L.Bortoluzzi(drums). In the last season, with the same quintet, he promoted original arrangements of Beatles music.
