Daniele Sala born in Marsala 30-07-1978, He start study of the piano to the 8 years old and in 1989 He attend the conservatory with his teacher Salvatore Spanò. In 1990 he studies jazz music and he start to play with several musicians. In 1993 he attend SIENA JAZZ and from 1996 to 1999 he attend four seminary of the Marsala D.O.C. Jazz Festival. In 1998, He start the study of the Alto saxophone and he plays with his father's orchestra. In 1999, He participates to the seminaries of Teramo Jazz, with Michel Camilo. In 2000, he participates at one of the most important jazz seminary in Europe, "UMBRIA JAZZ 2000" and he win one scholarship for to study to the BERKLEE college of music of BOSTON (U.S.A.). In April 2001by a audition, he win another scholarship from the berklee college and In January 2002 he move in the United States for to attend the berklee college. In November 2002 he participates to the competition "incroci sonori jazz" and he is second.
